Ravenswood Project Portfolio
With over 1,100 employees, Constellium's plant in Ravenswood, West Vriginia is one of the world's largest rolled products facilities, offering customers the most powerful plate stretchers in the world, as well as one of the largest cold rolling mills. Built in 1957, the plant houses 62 acres (about 250,900 m²) of production facilities on a 514-acre (about 2,080,000 m²) site. It is the largest employer in Jackson County, West Virginia (United States) and one of the top 50 businesses in West Virginia. Today, the Ravenswood plant produces plate, sheet and coil products for aerospace, defense, transportation, marine, and other industrial uses.
Since 2018, IPS has been integrated into the Constellium Engineering team acting as an Owner’s Representative to help manage and execute their CAPEX projects
During this time, IPS has worked and is working on a portfolio of projects as mentioned below:
1. Installation of a completely new plant notification system throughout the facility
2. Installation of a stitching equipment on a coil finishing line
3. Installation of overhead cranes for sample testing laboratory
4. Installation of an HVAC system for cold mill electrical drive room
5. Installation of a new vendor invoice management system
6. Upgrade of a parking lot including pavement, lighting, and access control (~70,000 square feet)
7. Overhead Crane Rail Replacement (~1300 feet, Ongoing)
8. Plate Stretcher Column Rebuild (On-going)
9. New Mill Coolant Vacuum Distillation Unit Installation (Ongoing)
10. Cold Mill Unwind Gearbox Rebuild (Ongoing)
11. Hotline Sample Station Modifications (Ongoing)
12. Secondary Wide Area Network Installation (Ongoing)
